'' The One Left Behind '' Blog 3

So far the book is about a girl named Mandy . Mandy has a big family but she fells so lonely because her sister had died. In the first  few chapters its talking about how her mom and dad went on a vacation and she had stayed home with her dog. They both miss the sister a lot. While she stays home she wasn't everything to remind as they always where. Enjoy her summer and pretend like her sister is there and actually be happy but deep down she knows its a lie. This book is looking good so far

In the book there isn't a plot yet  but something that surprised me was that how  Mandy is trying to get threw things on her own cause her sisters lost. Even though she's hurt she ''tries'' to get threw her summer by having fun and going out to her and her baseball game and meeting new people 

''Behind the Bedroom Wall '' Sign post;Tough Questions

When you are reading and the character asks himself a really difficult question you should  ask yourself … In the book ''Behind The Bedroom Wall '' a  question Korinna keeps asking her self is she could trust her parents or her friend Rita because there hiding jews behind there wall  and my question I'm gonna ask my self now is , is she able to trust them ? thats her really close friend . Why would she do that knowing how much Korinna cares about the jews . 

What does this question make me wonder about ?

  I wonder whats gonna happen ? Are the nazi ever gonna find out ? is someone gonna tell ?.

''The future Of Us ''

 So far what I have read  the book ''The future Of Us'' is about a girl named Emma and a boy named Josh. The first chapter it starts off by saying how Emma had gotten her first laptop and now that she  does has one Josh  passes her a  AOLCD   download   and they discover a page called Facebook . It's all about her .. her future . There wasn't only one for her she found one for josh  ,her friends , and family   . The more they all log in they found out more kool things about there future. 

 The genre of this book is fiction .  So far I think this book is very interesting and unique because the  story is about  kids finding out there future by a website .

Behing the Wall ; Summary

So far the book is about Karina. She is in youth Nazi group with her best friend Rita .    Karina and her family are  up stander about the jews , thats the reason why the got some hiding up stairs , threw out the story Karina's sister dies  . Her friend Rita knows about the jews and Im not sure if she's just trying to  be there cause she feels bad for them too  or actually snitch . In the middle the Nazi invited Karina's house , but I don't know the reason why , maybe cause they heard something or they know ?
The book is getting better and better .

   Character Analysis

 Karina ; I think Karina is a very  caring person , even though her and her people , the nazi are against the jews she still had a good heart and was hiding them behind the walls . She never snitched .  She  was a good daughter to her parents , a good sister and a good friend . She was always there for them .

Holcaust

  I think the reason why people didn't stand up for other people during the holocaust  was because they didn't want to get killed .  People believed the rumors about the jews . What I would have done for the jews was be an up stander and help hide them . If  I got killed I at least knew I helped people and I would feel good about it .

In the artical  the agrument was about workers having the right to a free and safe life . The article was about   a  factory that caught on fire and killed 112 workers . Guards told the police it as a drill but it was too late . some people didn't make it out . They locked the locks outside knowing people were inside . What I think about this issue is that they really should care more about there workers , treat them with respect like they would want to be treat because how they just left the workers in the factory to die was a really bad thing.

The argument in in the poem ‘’ The Sweatshop “  was that  the  narrator was depressed . He  was lost, keep saying over and over “ Who am I ’’. He said that he was a machine.  At a point he thought there was hope but him repeating his whole life  over and over again everyday makes him feel like that. The poem was more difficult than the article because its repeating  its self and you got to find out whats the meaning of the whole thing .

''Runaway''

 Runaway is about a girl named Holly. To be honest I think she has a sad/bad life. Her mother dies of overdose and she's at an orphan but her  foster parents treat her really bad they abuse her. while I was reading  I noticed she doesn't like to tell no one what she goes threw . One day her foster parents locked her in the  laundry room and Holly decides to write. Holly was tired  of the abuse and runs way, she had tried so many times but she really does leave this time. she made it out of town and headed west. She went there some hard time.  She slept outside in the cold , stood food , lied to people but she managed to get threw everything .

Call Of Duty

I read the article '' Call Of Duty '' It was about soldier and his dog who were partners in the miltary. The dog Zenit sniffed out bombs, one day they were at a battle and Jose had stepped on a bomb and lost   2 of his legs. They send him back home, while he was at home he missed his dog a lot,  He was assigned to another person. He went there lots of papers to try and get his dog back. At the end he was happy because he had his partner back.  I thought it was really sad when I heard once you leave the military you can't have your  partner back because he's assigned to another person. Its sad to work/be with someone for a long time and then for them just to take that person away from you. At the end I got really happy because he worked so hard to get Zenit back.

Lemon Brown

Lemon Brown was about a boy named Greg . Greg loved to play basketball , One day he want to an abandaded  house , thats where he met a homelessness guy named Mr brown . Mr brown explained how hard times came thats why he was there living in an a banded house . While they were talking 3 bad men were trying to broke in saying they heard him talk about his treasure . They called Mr brown ''Rag Man'' they knew about his treasure . Mr Brown did everything to protect Greg .
My reaction's were  surprised , shocked and happy because I didn't think Mr brown was gonna protect a kid he didn't eve know  and  I didn't know the treasure was something he keep for memories  of his son . Mr brown was a good guy . The connections I made with the bone I already learned was people pick on homeless people because they think  its funny . I was surprised that Mr brown was pretty famouse  .

'' If Only ''

 Mother's day is here and no one knows what to tell Corinna since her mother had past away ,  She dosn't want them to really say anything because then she gets depressed and starts to cry and at the same time she does .  While thats happening  she pushes her self and tries not to be down no more . Corinna becomes closer with her father . They both try to get threw it together. She's full of attuide  too  which is a good thing because she don't give up . She goes on a trip with her father to Japan .  Next thing you know she entires high school ready and prepared and not as depressed she was befor

 A character trait I would give Corinna is very outgoing and a successful person because even though her mother passed away from cancer and managed to get threw everything and push her self to talk to friends and communicate more with her father .

" If Only"

 ''If only '' is about a girl named  Corinna .  Corinna has been threw a lot  because her mother passed away from cancer , now that she's returning back to school she feels upset ,depressed, and awkward with other students .    She has the best friend she has since day one . She's still there for her , she tries her hardest to make Corinna forget and maker her think about something else .

Corinna ;  muscular and outgoing
I think she's muscular and outgoing because she went threw a lot and still made it threw her mom's death .

'' Girl Stolen"

" Girl Stolen " is about a girl named Cheyenne who gets taken   on accident  while she was in the car .     The kidnaper name was Griffin , what he didn't know about. The  setting takes place in Griffins house in the middle of know were   because  thats where he takes her .  It wasn't only Griffin though , he dad was apart of the kidnap .  While Cheyenne is there Griffin grows feelings for her  and he ttys to keep her safe from his dad . She plays Griffin to get out of that place . She had at the change and found a lamp and hit Griffin , she use there dog as  a guid dog , she can only see the conner of her eye so she couldn't  see much , she was near by a police station . Griffin and his dad got locked up .
